Electrocardiography (EKG) for diagnosing heart health

Meet the specialists from our team in this field
One of the oldest and most important methods of cardiac examination in modern cardiology is electrocardiography, or the electrocardiogram. Electrocardiography (ECG) is a non-invasive, painless, yet highly informative diagnostic method that allows for the graphical representation of changes in the heart’s electrical field potential. An ECG recording, also known as an electrocardiogram, is obtained using an electrocardiograph—a special device used to perform an electrocardiography examination.
The electrocardiograph consists of several electrodes that are placed on the patient’s chest, arms, and legs before the procedure; during the procedure, they detect the patient’s heart’s electrical impulses and convert them into a graphical image, or electrocardiogram.
At the Adoria Health and Beauty Center, we offer electrocardiography and echocardiography examinations, as well as consultations with an experienced cardiologist. We use state-of-the-art equipment for cardiac examinations, ensuring high accuracy of results and a comfortable procedure.
